What is included in these kits and sets?

It depends on what kit you decide on but we have a few different options. One of the classic ways to open a car door lock is using jiggler keys. These can also be called wafer or rocker keys. All of these sets come with a number of different try out keys that allow you to manipulate the wafers inside a car door lock. To practice this method of entry we offer the Gridlock set. The gridlock set consists of four progressive locks that allows you to practice wafer picking by starting out with an easy lock and working your way up to a standard wafer vehicle lock. One of the most effective ways to gain access to a locked vehicle is with a long reach tool. The SPARROWS vehicle entry kit includes the long reach tool, air bag wedge, a paint protector so you do not scratch the car while operating the tool and more.

How to use a Vehicle Entry kit

When you have a lock out situation one of the easiest ways to gain access to the vehicle is with a long reach tool. This is now a standard item for almost all tow operators and locksmiths. The days of using a jim tool in the door frame are gone. By using a Quick Wedge, an inflating bag similar to a blood pressure cuff, you are able to expose a sliver of an opening in the top corner between the car door and the frame. This gap provides more than enough room for a long reach tool to snake its way into the vehicle and then simply press the unlock button on the door. In some cases you can also pick up the keys if they were left in a reasonable location like the driver's seat.
